Levante, Real Sociedad, Sevilla, Betis and UDG, elected to the Delegate Commission of the Women's Professional League

MADRID, 7 Jun. (EUROPA PRESS) -

Levante UD, Real Sociedad, Sevilla, Betis and the Unión Deportiva Granadilla Tenerife will form part of the Delegate Commission of the new Professional Women's Football League (LPFF), according to the organization.

The LPFF held this Tuesday the first General Assembly in its history at the headquarters of the Higher Sports Council (CSD), which was attended by the 16 founding clubs and SAD of the competition, and the two recently promoted from Reto Iberdrola, Alhama CF and Levante LasPlanas, who were "invited" to attend the event.

In this first historic meeting, the five members were elected who, together with Beatriz Álvarez Mesa, president, and Rubén Alcaine, vice president, will make up the Delegated Commission, the governing body and ordinary administration of the LPFF.

In addition, the clubs began to work on various organizational issues, among which stand out, "due to the special urgency, the calendar of the competition for the 2022/23 season, whose proposal will be sent as soon as possible to the Royal Spanish Football Federation , as established by the regulatory regulations because it is a matter subject to coordination".

"Thus, once the electoral process is over and all the representative and governing bodies have been elected, the LPFF will begin to form its structure with the aim of addressing the exciting challenges facing women's professional football," the organization stressed.
