Junts blames ERC for Sánchez's "non-compliance" with Catalonia for giving him the "green light" in exchange for "crumbs"

MADRID, Oct. 13 (Xinhua) -- (EUROPE PRESSS) -

The Junts spokeswoman in congress, Miriam Nogueras, blamed Esquerra Republicana this Thursday for the "non-compliances" that the independentistas blame the Government, since she considers that it is ERC who gives the "green light" to Pedro Sánchez in exchange for "four crumbs ".

After the intervention of the ERC spokesman, Gabriel Rufián, who considers that the Government allows the "repression" of those who promoted and supported the illegal referendum of 2017, Miriam Nogueras has gone up to the rostrum of Congress to agree with her complaints, but attributing to them the responsibility for the occurrence of non-compliance. "I join the complaints, but they can do all this because you give them the green light," she remarked.

The leader of Carles Puigdemont's party has assured that the President of the Government is not believed and has accused him of "lying" and failing to comply with the promised investments while Madrid receives more money. "In Catalonia we don't want charity, what we want is for the trains to work because we pay more than 50,000 million euros in taxes. Where is this money? Because it doesn't come to Catalonia," she said.

And he has also criticized Esquerra, with whom Junts has just broken up in the Generalitat. In his opinion, although the Republicans said that there was not going to be another tripartite and that "never" the State was going to put itself ahead of Catalonia, in the end they have chosen to "give stability" to the coalition government.

"The Catalan parties had two options: give stability to all this lie in exchange for four crumbs or risk our stability," he added. "The world is changed by brave people who keep their word and who are loyal, and it is evident that you (Sánchez) and Pere Aragonès (ERC) are not going to change anything in this world".

For its part, the PDeCAT, another of the Catalan independence parties in Congress, has indicated through its spokesman, Ferran Bel, that it is beginning "a long electoral campaign" with a view to the municipal and general elections of 2023 and has warned of that "discrediting the adversary is not usually an electoral asset", but it is preferable to generate illusion.
