Jorge Vilda: "We haven't seen the best Spain we can see"

The national soccer coach, Jorge Vilda, was proud of the "human group" he leads and the quality of his players to turn around the debut (4-1) in Euro 2022 against Finland this Friday, despite not bring out the best version of you.

"We knew that Finland was a team that could hurt us in transitions and it was like that with the first ball. There was time ahead and I knew that the team was going to react, due to potential, play and players, we were going to lift the game. It was a new situation but we have been able to score four goals", he said.

"If I am guided by experience, I know that in the championships we have been growing, and we have a very valuable human group. Alexia wearing the Virgina shirt, Aitana dedicates the goal to Alexia, Lucía too. Vilda also referred to the fact of scoring three headed goals against a powerful team like the Finnish. "It's a curious thing that we scored three headed goals against Finland, it's the capriciousness of football, against taller and more powerful players.
