The Minister for Equality, Irene Montero, has assured this Thursday that Unidas Podemos "trusts" the word of the Socialists to finish the legislature, although she has pointed out that their formation must be prepared "for any scenario".

In an interview with Radio Euskadi, collected by Europa Press, Montero recalled that the call for general elections is the responsibility of the Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez, but he specified that the PSOE has told them that it will go until the end of the mandate.

"I think that we have to be prepared for any scenario. We trust the word of our government partner, but Podemos is always prepared, as an organization, for any scenario," she pointed out.

Regarding the possible candidacy of Yolanda Díaz, he believes that "you have to go fast" and that he is even "going late", but he has assured that "they respect the times of the vice president, who is currently building her party, Sumar".
