The Iranian Forensic Medicine Organization has concluded that the death in custody of the young Mehsa Amini, trigger of the biggest protests in recent months in the country, was not due to any "blow to the head or vital organs of her body" and they estimate that it was caused by a "multiple organ failure" derived from a heart problem due to a previous pathology.

"The results of the physical examination of the body and the autopsy, as well as the pathology examinations (indicate that) the death of the aforementioned was not caused by blows to the head or to the vital organs of the body," according to the organization's statement. , collected by the official Iranian news agency IRNA.

The forensic organization has indicated that Amini underwent, at the age of eight, the removal of a brain tumor in an operation whose aftermath caused, according to the autopsy conclusions, the fainting of the 22-year-old when She was in the custody of the Islamic Republic's Moral Police for improperly wearing the veil.

The forensic version estimates that the deceased "suddenly lost consciousness due to this underlying disease, which caused a heart rhythm disorder and a drop in blood pressure."

After unsuccessful resuscitation attempts, the forensic report concludes that Amini died of "multiple organ failure" caused by cerebral hypoxia caused by a lack of oxygen supply to the head.

The death of the young woman after being arrested for wearing the Islamic veil wrongly has caused a wave of indignation both in a part of Iranian society, and more unanimously at the international level.
