A group of journalists who followed the Mexican president, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, were intercepted and searched by armed individuals on a highway between the states of Durango and Sinaloa, birthplace of the Sinaloa Cartel.

The incident occurred on Friday near the town of Bacacoragua, where a dozen men wearing military suits and patches with drawings of two oranges and the number 7, armed with AK-47 rifles, searched the journalists' vehicles and asked them where they were going. , according to the newspaper 'La Jornada'.
