German police investigate the origin of a giant swastika on the outskirts of Berlin

LEIPZIG (ALEMANIA), 6 Jul. (DPA/EP) -

Police in Germany are investigating the appearance of a giant swastika in a field on the outskirts of the capital, Berlin, to try to determine the origin of a symbol whose reproduction is currently prohibited.

The swastika, plowed in a field in the Barnim district and about 360 square meters, was easily recognizable from the air. The Police have already located the person who owns the land, as well as the person in charge of monitoring the pastures, but for now they have not offered more information.

The display of Nazi symbols is prohibited in Germany, which has laws that punish the propaganda of the Adolf Hitler regime even with prison terms. According to the newspaper 'Bild', Barnim's swastika has already disappeared after the alert given on social networks by several users.
