MADRID, 27 May. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The general secretary of the PP, Cuca Gamarra, has assured this Friday that her party will not be a commentator on "outbursts" of other political leaders and has stressed that the PP led by Alberto Núñez Feijóo will bet on the rules of "courtesy and education". Moreover, she has stressed that they are a "totally different" party from Vox.

This is how RNE has spoken when asked if something has broken between PP and Vox after the statements against abortion by the Vice President of Castilla y León, Juan García-Gallardo (Vox), assuring that the Government of Pedro Sánchez with its Abortion Law invites "those who have disabilities to be crushed in the wombs of mothers" and replying to the socialist Noelia Frutos, a disabled prosecutor, who was going to answer "as if she were a person like the others."

Gamarra has pointed out that she is a "sensitive" person with people with disabilities. "I am a person who knows the world of disability very well, who has empathy with people with disabilities and whom I respect and greatly value their skills and the barriers they have overcome," she has stated.

When asked if she believes that García-Gallardo should have apologized for her statements, the PP leader stated that "without a doubt, outbursts are not the best way to address politics."

"We are not going to be the commentators on the outbursts of others because what we are going to do is abide by other rules, which are those of courtesy and education. We believe that this is how a country is built and a policy at the level of what the Spaniards deserve and need", he asserted.

That said, Gamarra has made it clear that the PP is judged by how they are themselves and how their leaders express themselves, thus marking distances with Vox. "Each one is each one and is responsible for his words. And the citizens appreciate it for sure," he stressed.

Before the declarations of the parliamentary spokesman of Vox, Iván Espinosa de los Monteros, accusing the PP of being a collaborator with the Government, Gamarra has again marked distances with the formation of Santiago Abascal because they understand the country "in a different way from how Vox understands it ". "It's that we are a totally different party," he emphasized.

Gamarra has underlined that Feijóo has shown that "coexistence and cordiality is the key to management" in Galicia. "I think that this is a political value that he has and treasures, which means that the Galicians have elected him their president four times by an absolute majority," he stressed, adding that when the polls speak with that "forcefulness, there is no longer nothing more to say".

When asked if Vox is becoming an uncomfortable partner when the Andalusians are about to be held, she stressed that the PP wants to "gather a sufficient majority to give stability" to citizens and, therefore, "the way to do politics is with the Spaniards". "We are not thinking of coalitions with others," she added.

At this point, he has indicated that the objective of the PP is "to govern alone" and has added that "we must respect what the Andalusians say on June 19". "What we tell the Andalusians after four years of a government of change with Juanma at the helm, that it is time to continue growing with a sufficient majority so that this government can be solid, stable and alone", he proclaimed.

Gamarra has assured that the PP is going to "work and make an effort" to achieve this goal because he is convinced that the "solid and broad" majorities are the ones that "work best." "That is what we aspire to", he has highlighted.

On the other hand, Gamarra has denounced the Government's delay in stopping the gas, an announcement he made in March. "It always arrives late and badly," he stated, adding that the executive decree cannot yet be applied, "they have been in talks with Brussels for two months while the bills continue to be paid."

"If any of the PP measures had been supported, VAT would already be 5% instead of 10%," said Gamarra, who also stressed that they do not know "who is going to pay" the government adjustments, "when will come into force or how it will affect countries that buy gas from us, such as France, Morocco and Andorra".

"When the Executive clears the doubts, we will know what our position is. This cannot be an imposition on the direction of the vote," declared the spokeswoman for the Popular Group when asked if her party is open to supporting validation in Congress.

On the possibility that the Government extends the aid for the purchase of fuel and if it would support it, Gamarra has pointed out that "prices are still so high" that he does not know if "this measure is working well". "It would have to be analyzed and valued," he assured.
