Former deputy Bernardo Fuentes assures that he is the victim of the Mediator plot: "I have managed absolutely nothing"

Regarding the photos in brothels, he defends his constitutional right to privacy

Former PSOE deputy Juan Bernardo Fuentes, investigated in the 'Mediator' case for alleged bribery, falsehood, money laundering, influence peddling and an organized group, has assured that he is the victim of this corruption scheme: "I have managed absolutely nothing. No I have nothing to hide."

"They have taken me as a guinea pig," Fuentes said in an interview with 'El Periódico' collected by Europa Press, after declaring on Wednesday before the judge about the plot that he allegedly led together with the General of the Civil Guard Francisco Espinosa Navas --in prison-- and the Canarian businessman Antonio Navarro Tacoronte.

Sources have assured that the extracts of conversations in the summary of the case in which he offers to obtain aid for businessmen are false: "I do not know if they have been manipulated or not, but what they say is flatly false, that yes that's true."

Regarding the visits of businessmen to the Congress of Deputies, he has maintained that they are "perfectly regulated", and asked about the images in which he appears in a hostess club with Navarro, he has said that he did not go to any type of party and that, Furthermore, it does not recognize all published photos.

"But, in any case, they do not prove the commission of anything illegal. They affect the sphere of my constitutional right to privacy," he added.
