King Felipe VI has already arrived at the Real Club Náutico de Palma (RCNP), where he will participate in the fortieth edition of the Copa del Rey MAPFRE de sailing, which will be held starting this Monday and in which he will compete aboard the 'TP52 ' of the Navy, the 'Aifos500'.

Felipe VI has already gone out to train during the weekend in the 'Aifos500', embarking in the port of Porto Pi, and now he will compete in the opening day. The monarch was received upon his arrival by Admiral Jaime Rodríguez Toubes, and at the RCNP by its president, Emerico Fuster, and by the territorial director of MAPFRE in the Balearic Islands, Óscar Celada.

The King participated in the usual pose at the main door and later, once inside, he was given the commemorative book for the 40th edition of the Copa del Rey MAPFRE, written by Suso Pérez, who was also present. Later, Felipe VI greeted the crew and boarded the 'Aifos500' to go to the regatta field, where he will compete on the first day.

The 40th edition of the Copa del Rey MAPFRE will kick off this Monday with the first scoring races for the three ClubSwan divisions and the four BMW ORC divisions, which will take place in the Bay of Palma.
