Feijóo warns Sánchez that people are "tired" of him and will not be able to buy it: "Stop bothering good people"

The president replies that he "never" imagined that "recognizing the rights of minorities and trans groups would bother good people."

MADRID, 21 Feb. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The leader of the PP, Alberto Nuñez Feijóo, has warned Pedro Sánchez this Tuesday that the people are "tired" of his government and of him and that he will not be able to "buy it" before the next elections by pulling the "checkbook". In addition, he has stated that the Chief Executive "will go down in history" for his "tolls" on Podemos with the so-called 'only yes is yes' law and the Trans Law. "Stop bothering good people, stop interfering in the lives of others," he snapped.

In his reply in the control session to the Government in the Senate, the Prime Minister replied to the head of the opposition that he "never" imagined that "recognizing the rights of minorities and trans groups would bother good people".

After boasting of the stability of his Government due to its agreements with other groups, Sánchez has valued the social achievements of his coalition Executive and has stressed to the PP that "to talk about feminism" you have to have "a bit of feminist credibility ", after recalling the PP's recourse to the law of deadlines that the socialist government of José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero approved and that Feijóo's PP now supports.

In his turn, Feijóo has attacked the head of the Executive with the Trans Law and has wondered if this "error" is "even worse" than the one that has been committed with the "only yes is yes" law because it also affects minors and teenagers. As he has said, he will go down in history for these two rules that, in his opinion, are a "toll" for Podemos to be able to continue in the Moncloa Palace.

This is Feijóo's first control question to the head of the Executive of this 2023 session, but both already held an extensive debate on January 31 in the Upper House, in which all the groups participated and which lasted six hours.
