Feijóo sees the Parliament vote in 2017 as less serious than the TC reform because PSOE has abandoned the Constitution

MADRID, 16 Dic. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The leader of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóó, has denounced that the Government and the PSOE "insult" the judges by calling them "faces in a gown" or "equating the magistrates of the Constitutional Court with the coup civil guards" of 23-F. In fact, he has stressed that what happened this Thursday in the plenary session of Congress is more serious than the vote in the Parliament of Catalonia in 2017 because then, he has stressed, the PSOE was with the Constitution.

"We have verified that those votes where the independence of Catalonia was declared and the disconnection of Catalonia with the rest of Spain in 2017 were less serious than those that took place yesterday because in 2017 in the Parliament of Catalonia the PSOE was with the Constitution and yesterday the PSOE abandoned the Constitution," Feijóo told the media in Valencia.

Feijóo has underlined the plenary session this Thursday in the plenary session of Congress "proves" that they are facing "a black day for Spanish democracy" that has shown that Pedro Sánchez "has no limits" and his "sole objective is to resist" .

In addition, he has censored the words of Pedro Sánchez speaking of a "plot" and has said that "this populist language is inappropriate for a European prime minister" and "very dangerous". Faced with this, he has said that the PP is going to continue "respecting coexistence" and the Magna Carta because it is "clear" that the Government does not.
