Feijóo charges Sánchez for "making noise" with his "gas requirement" when the protocol in CyL will not be changed

The leader of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, has harshly charged the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, for "making a noise" with a "gas request" to the Junta de Castilla y León when the president of the community, Alfonso Fernández Mañueco , has made it clear that the care protocol for pregnant women will not be changed.

In an interview on Telemadrid, which has been collected by Europa Press, Feijóo has affirmed that Mañueco, who is the one who has "authority to pronounce himself", has done so in a "very clear and explicit" way, because "what is clear" is that the Government of Castilla y León "is not going to modify the care protocol for pregnant women".

"Second, like all governments, it must protect those women who want to have a child and, like all governments in Spain, it cannot coerce any woman who wants to interrupt it when it is in the cases indicated by law," he stressed.

After assuring that the Government has "many problems" and with this it tries to "reduce" them by creating "non-existent problems", he has described as "regrettable" that the Council of Ministers approves a requirement today "based on an act or a resolution that is not has produced", which is why it is a "gaseous requirement" based on "news assumptions and comments at a press conference" when Manueco "insists that there is no modification of the protocol for pregnant women".

"We are facing a crude attempt to manipulate a government that has gone down in the history of Spain for failing to protect women with that frivolous and botched law of 'only yes is yes'", he stated, to recall that they have already occurred around of 190 sentence reductions for sexual offenders.
