Feijóo charges against Vox for his "no" to Ayuso's Budgets: "He does not defend general interests but private ones"

The leader of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, has attacked Vox this Wednesday after announcing that he will vote against the Government Budgets led by Isabel Díaz Ayuso, a fact that, in his opinion, shows that Santiago Abascal's party does not defend the general interests but "the particular interests of their political formation".

This has been pronounced after the Vox Parliamentary Group in the Madrid Assembly has advanced that it will vote against the Budgets of the Community of Madrid for 2023 after the Assembly Table, where the PP has a majority, has not accepted his partial amendments after registering them late.

In statements to the media after participating in the III AFAMMER International Congress of Rural Women, Feijóo has indicated that this decision "perfectly certifies that Vox is a totally different party from the PP" which "has denied the people of Madrid a budget full of investments, especially for public health" and projects for people, for example, who do not have access to the streets "because they do not have an elevator at home".

"In short, Vox has once again shown that its project is not a project that defends general interests but the particular interests of its political formation," said the leader of the 'popular'.

When asked if he has already decided whether the PP will abstain or vote in favor of the motion of no confidence that Vox is going to register against Pedro Sánchez or it will depend on the candidate they present, Feijóo has affirmed that "the motion of no confidence that is called is the May 28", alluding to the regional and municipal elections.

"Regarding future and uncertain events, which we do not know if they are going to occur and who the candidates are going to be, we have to be at least prudent," he stated, to reiterate that the PP project does not go through "laundering" the Government when " He has no social backing."

Feijóo has indicated that the motion is not for 350 deputies to vote but for all Spaniards to do so through "thousands of ballot boxes" throughout Spain. This Tuesday, from the national leadership of the PP it was already anticipated that the party will not oppose this motion of censure if Vox finally registers it in Congress.
