Feijóo announces an "institutional quality" plan to overcome the "block" policy

MADRID, Dec. 29 (EUROPA PRESS) - The president of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, announced this Thursday that in the first weeks of 2023 he will present an "institutional quality plan" that, among other objectives, will seek to put an end to what has called "policy of confronting blocks" and that the institutions "return to being at the service of the citizenry and not of the vanities of the rulers".

This has been advanced during his speech at the party's national headquarters in which he has taken stock of the year that is ending and has anticipated his purposes for the 2023 election that is about to begin.

This institutional plan, he said, will guide the "future government action" of the PP and will include measures to "avoid cases of nepotism" in State institutions so that "the best servants govern and not the most faithful followers". to the leader.

In this sense, he has advocated placing politics "above two opposing blocks or parties" and for "recovering respect for institutions, for the laws, the Constitution" and also for the word given to the citizens", for that they know what to expect when they go to the polls and not do so knowing that the politicians are going to "lie" to them and do the opposite of what they promise.

In this context, Feijóo has shown himself convinced that there is "an enormous capacity for understanding with a large majority of different Spaniards" but that they have "common problems and aspirations". "You can disagree but with forms, with arguments, with proposals and without disqualifications, recover respect for politics and solve problems for citizens instead of creating more," he said.
