Ezentis titles plummet 14% on the stock market after submitting its Brazilian subsidiary to bankruptcy

MADRID, 6 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The subsidiary of Ezentis in Brazil has submitted to the competent court a request for a declaration of voluntary bankruptcy, as reported by the group to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV).

The titles of the Ezentis group collapsed in the first bars of the session by 13.94%, to 0.0469, which places the action at the bottom of the Spanish stock market.

This abrupt setback joins the one carried out on Monday, when the Ezentis titles returned to the parquet with falls above 30% after the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV) lifted its suspension.

The telecommunications services company, in pre-bankruptcy with creditors, thus returned to the trading floor after a month of suspension by the stock market supervisor, considering that there was a lack of information to assess the share price.

The company presented a week ago the accounts for the first half of the year. In the first six months of the year, the firm has multiplied its losses by four, to 51.6 million euros.

In the presentation of results, the firm's management insisted on the importance of implementing the group's viability plan, for which it considered "very positive" to have a project portfolio of 472.2 million euros.

Ezentis needs to reach an agreement with its creditors, with whom it has liabilities of over 150 million euros.
