Errejón will be in the Andalusian campaign but his degree of participation has not yet been specified

MADRID, 3 Jun. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The leader of Más País, Íñigo Errejón, is the only national leader of the formations that make up the 'Por Andalucía' coalition that has not yet specified the degree of participation in the Andalusian electoral campaign.

The aforementioned united candidacy marks the first time that Más País and Podemos concur together after the split that took place in 2019, within a confluence of unity that also brings together IU, Equo, Alianza Verde and the Andalusian People's Initiative.

Coalition sources point out that there are still aspects of the agenda that need to be finalized and highlight that the leader of Más País will be in the campaign, although at the moment the specific events to which he will attend have not been revealed.

It has already been closed for the 14th, in the Sevillian town of Dos Hermanas, a rally that stands as the main act of the candidacy and that will bring together the second vice president, Yolanda Díaz, the leader of Podemos and Minister of Social Rights, Ione Belarra, the head of Equality, Irene Montero, and the federal coordinator of IU and Minister of Consumption, Alberto Garzón.

The other date set as relevant is the next 11 in Córdoba, where Díaz and Belarra will share the stage to support the candidate of the leftist coalition, Inmaculada Nieto. The presence of Irene Montero and Garzón at the closing ceremony of the 'Por Andalucía' campaign is also confirmed.

For now, the candidacy's agenda already includes the two scheduled acts with Díaz, while Belarra and Montero will be in three and Garzón will reach up to a dozen interventions, being the leader with the greatest presence in the confederal space.

Recently, the federal coordinator of the IU, Alberto Garzón, said that it would be "wonderful" to share the electoral campaign in Andalusia with the leader of Más País, Íñigo Errejón, and the various leaders of United We Can, claiming that the "challenge" of these elections it requires being "above any internal issue".

In this way, the question remains as to whether there will be a unity photo of the main national left-wing leaders, thus symbolizing the overcoming of the internal confrontation that took place between the purple formation and the supporters of Errejón's party.

In recent times, Errejón has coincided in different acts with the second vice president and has highlighted the "magnificent relationship" that both maintain.
