Echenique confronts Ayuso: "If justice were independent, you would be in jail"

MADRID, 23 Ago. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The spokesperson for United We Can in Congress, Pablo Echenique, considers that the president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, of the PP, should "be in jail" and that she is only saved because, in her opinion, in Spain the justice is not independent.

Echenique has reacted in this way on social networks to a message published by Díaz Ayuso on account of the judicial investigation of the Argentine vice president, Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, whom the Prosecutor's Office is asking for a prison sentence.

Podemos has expressed its support for the Peronist leader in the face of what it considers a "judicial and media war" against the progressive government, but Díaz Ayuso has another vision:

"The Argentine people cry out for judicial independence, for democracy, against populism, corruption and drug trafficking," he wrote on the social network Twitter, expressing his support for the South American country, "which wakes up and has the opportunity to be an example for liberal democracies.

The message from the Madrid president has been answered by Echenique on the same social network: "If justice were independent, you would be in jail. It is good for you and yours that justice is not independent either in Argentina or in Spain", he replied to Ayuso.

And the proof, according to the spokesman for the 'purples', is the blockade of the renewal of the General Council of the Judiciary: "Or else, why have you spent almost four years seditiously blocking the renewal of the CGPJ?", he insinuates .
