Cuca Gamarra avoids clarifying if he knew of Casado's agreement with the Government to renew the Judiciary

MADRID, 24 Ago. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The general secretary of the Popular Party, Cuca Gamarra, has avoided clarifying this Wednesday if, as spokesperson for the Popular Group with Pablo Casado, she was aware of the document that the previous leadership of the party signed with the Government to renew the Judicial Power.

"We have given many explanations on this issue and everything has already been said," Gamarra limited herself to saying when asked about this issue at a press conference in the Congress of Deputies.

The current president of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, has disassociated himself from the agreement, signed by the then general secretary of the formation, Teodoro García Egea, with the minister Félix Bolaños, and has alleged that his predecessor did not deliver "any document" to the regarding it during the transfer of powers, nor did Pedro Sánchez mention it to him when they met in Moncloa. For its part, the PSOE continues to accuse the 'popular' of blocking the process.

Gamarra served as spokesperson for the PP in Congress during the time of Casado, after the dismissal of Cayetana Álvarez de Toledo, and in the transition in the party she was general coordinator until Núñez Feijóo appointed her general secretary, as well as spokesperson.
