Congress debates the urgent appearance of the three vice presidents and four ministers

The Permanent Delegation of the Congress will decide this Wednesday if the urgent appearance is approved, before September, of the three vice presidents of the Government and four other ministers, all of them claimed by the PP to report on various matters.

The meeting has been called by the president of Congress, the socialist Meritxell Batet, and will start at four in the afternoon.

The Third Vice President and Minister of Ecological Transition, Teresa Ribera, the PP asks for explanations for the energy saving plan and the "absence of dialogue" with the communities, but also for the campaign to fight fires and for the hydrological situation of the country.

As for the first vice president and head of Economy, Nadia Calviño, her appearance is requested for the measures she plans to adopt in the face of rising inflation, and the second vice president and Minister of Labor, Yolanda Díaz, is asked for explanations for the destruction of employment registered in the month of July.

The PP has also requested the appearance of the Defense Minister, Margarita Robles, to explain the withdrawal of agents from the National Intelligence Center (CNI) in the Basque Country and Catalonia and the new deployments of Spanish troops in the face of the Russian threat in Eastern Europe.

In addition, the Permanent Deputation will debate and vote on three other requests from the PP for the appearance of the Ministers of the Presidency, Félix Bolaños, for the agreements adopted at the last dialogue table with Catalonia; of Health, Carolina Darias, for the availability of vaccines against monkeypox; and Transport, Raquel Sánchez, for the passenger train that this week was caught in the forest fire in Bejís (Castellón).
