The Workers' Commissions union (CCOO) has called for the three million public employees to mobilize in the face of "the lack of will" of the Administration to negotiate an agreement on wages and rights.

As reported by the union through a statement, the CCOO Public Area is going to launch a calendar of mobilizations that initially includes a call for media on July 11, as well as a first concentration on Thursday 14 July, in front of Congress, to denounce this lack of dialogue before the Government and the parliamentary groups gathered for the debate on the State of the Nation.

The union, in the midst of a worrying economic outlook due to the unstoppable rise in inflation, has criticized the "passivity" of the Government in responding to the demands of three million workers in the service of public administrations.

For this reason, it has decided to go on the offensive in the face of the lack of negotiation of a new wage agreement and working conditions, which guarantees purchasing power, recovers rights cut in previous crises and advances in the substantial improvement of regulations and working conditions. I work in the public sector.

"From the Public Area of ​​CCOO the constant loss of purchasing power is not going to be allowed and an agreement is immediately required for the maintenance of the purchasing power of salaries", he remarked in the note.

Along with this, the union believes that other matters must be negotiated, among which the development and updating of both the Basic Statute of Public Employees (EBEP) and the Framework Statute stand out. In addition, he believes that the Public Function Law of the AGE, the regulatory changes in terms of equality, the 35-hour day, the unlocking of the replacement rate and the employment plan for the rejuvenation of the templates and retirement must be addressed. early and partial, among other matters.
