Bolaños highlights the PSOE and Podemos agreement on pensions after the discrepancy of yes is yes

MADRID, 10 Mar. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The Minister of the Presidency, Relations with the Courts and Democratic Memory, Félix Bolaños, stressed this Friday that the coalition partners, PSOE and Unidas Podemos have already reached an agreement on pensions, after the discrepancy between the two due to the reform of the law of 'only yes is yes'.

When asked if the coalition is resisting after having voted differently for the consideration of the reform and having publicly expressed their differences, Bolaños stressed that the coalition "has just reached an agreement on pensions" that has been worked on with the European Commission and that guarantees the sustainability of the public system.

In statements to the media before making a visit to the Council of State, he has indicated that they will continue working and will use all their "energy" to continue governing and passing laws in the months remaining until the end of the legislature. Along the same lines, he has indicated that they cannot waste a second and that there are many policies that unite the two partners.

Bolaños has admitted that there has been a discrepancy within the government on this matter, although he has downplayed it in light of the legislative volume that the coalition has approved. "We have approved 200 laws and in one there has been a discrepancy," said the minister who considers that the Executive's service record is "more than positive."
