Bolaños denies that Brussels endorses the TC's decision and says that the PP is only "a little bit democratic"

MADRID, 21 Dic. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The Minister of the Presidency, Félix Bolaños, has denied this Wednesday that the European Commission has endorsed the decision of the Constitutional Court to paralyze the processing of the law that sought to expedite its renewal and has done so before the PP, a party that he has accused of being only "a little democratic".

This is how Bolaños has pronounced himself in the control session of the Government in Congress, in response to the 'popular' deputy Macarena Montesinos, who has assured that the European Union is "monitoring" this reform that the Government intends to promote and that this Tuesday " endorsed" the decision of the high court.

"You have a very stormy relationship with the truth. What you say is strictly false, the Commission has not made any pronouncement on the order of the TC", the minister replied, before once again blaming the PP for having "tensioned up to the limit" to the court, even affecting his "reputation", with an appeal that has had unprecedented effects in the 44 years of democracy in Spain or in any other European country.

In addition, he has called on the 'popular' to clarify "what his leader, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, is trying to say, when he assures that "he will go where necessary to protect the Judiciary from an illegitimate government." "They want to govern when they have a majority and when they don't, that's why they are only a little democratic," added the head of the Presidency.
