Bolaños criticizes Feijóo for abortion and ERC reminds him that both agree to reform the "only yes is yes" law

MADRID, 15 Feb. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The Minister of the Presidency, Félix Bolaños, has taken advantage of a question from Esquerra (ERC) on democratic memory to charge Congress against the position of the PP on the issue of abortion, and the spokesperson for the pro-independence groups has ironically reminded him that the two great parties that agree on reforming the Law on Sexual Freedom, known as the 'only yes is yes' law.

In the control session this Wednesday, the ERC deputy spokesperson in Congress, Carolina Telechea, posed a question to Bolaños about the application of the Democratic Memory law, which depends on his department, but the minister preferred to start with another issue alleging that what interests Spanish women is to know the position of the PP in relation to abortion.

"Excuse me for the paragraph, but today I have not heard a question that is of great interest to Spanish women, a question to the PP and Mr. (Alberto Núñez) Feijóo. Is abortion a women's right? Yes or no?" has assured, raising the protests of the Popular Group for this turn in the control session.

And he continued: "Do the PP and Mr. Feijóo live in Spain and Europe in 2023 or do they want to go back 50 years in women's rights? And one last question, who marks Mr. Feijóo's political position? , again the most ultra elements of the Spanish right?

Gabriel Rufián's group did not hide its surprise at seeing the minister change the focus, and in his reply Telechea sarcastically reproached Bolaños for a certain inconsistency: "It is very good that he reproaches the PP for the abortion law but tries to agree with them in the law of 'only yes is yes', he said.

Solved the digression, both have continued the debate talking about the object of the question, the application of the Democratic Memory Law approved at the end of last year.
