Beijing has chained four days without any case of COVID-19 outside the isolation centers authorized by the authorities, which would anticipate the end of community infections and the foreseeable containment of an outbreak that has put the Chinese capital on the ropes .

The city registered two new positives on Monday, four fewer than on Sunday, after reversing some of the restrictions imposed by the current wave of infections. The inhabitants of Beijing can move freely as long as they can present a negative COVID-19 test carried out in the previous 72 hours, instead of the 48 hours previously stipulated as a margin.

Local authorities have also announced this Tuesday measures to help companies affected by the pandemic, for example with moratoriums on rent payments, authorized delays in the payment of social security or an improvement in financing, among others, reports the Bloomberg news agency.

However, the Government does not lower its guard and defends that its objective continues to be to apply a policy of 'zero cases', whatever the cost. In Inner Mongolia, for example, the trend is the opposite of that in Beijing and on Monday it registered 69 new community infections, half of those reported throughout the country, while in the city of Dandong, bordering North Korea, they were confirmed. another 32 positive.
