The deputy secretary general of Ciudadanos, Edmundo Bal, described this Friday as "disrespectful" that critics of the refoundation of the party, grouped in the Somos Ciudadanos platform, do not abide by the process and ask for the resignation of Inés Arrimadas and the holding of a extraordinary congress.

In statements granted to esRadio, collected by Europa Press, he explained that the refoundation process was endorsed by the "vast majority of affiliates and supporters", so "that there is a series of people who want to establish another mechanism" seems to him " disrespectful" with the "majority feeling".

The also 'orange' deputy spokesman in the Congress of Deputies has valued the process of revitalizing the party, which he has considered "calm" and "rational", and has underlined that it has a wide participation, since 2,000 supporters and affiliates have signed up to propose their ideas. On the other hand, Bal has referred to the departure of the secretary of Citizen Organization Borja González, who announced his resignation on Thursday, two years after being appointed by Arrimadas.
