Bal (Cs) warns Sánchez that he will make a "historic mistake" if he supports ERC in the Government

The deputy secretary general and national spokesperson for Ciudadanos, Edmundo Bal, has warned the Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez, that both the PSOE and the Socialist Party of Catalonia (PSC) will make a "historic mistake" if they support the Esquerra Republicana (ERC) in the Govern.

Upon his arrival at the XI National Congress of ONCE, Bal celebrated the fact that Junts per Catalunya had left the Catalan Government, but he also hoped that ERC would do the same, considering that "everyone is left over" after the events that have occurred in the region in recent years.

"They have broken coexistence in Catalonia; they do not respect the rights of families to have their children educated at least 25% in Spanish, and that with the complicity of the PSC; it has brought misery and poverty to Catalonia with the exit of companies and capital; and they have not governed for everyone, only for their part", he criticized.

Bal has asked himself "how is it going to be possible for the PSC and Pedro Sánchez to support this Government in the Generalitat", warning that it would be a "historic mistake" for his party to support them in the approval of the Budgets, after the departure of Junts .

For this reason, the deputy for Ciudadanos has asked the President of the Government to return to constitutionalism, at the same time that he has suggested to the president of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo that "that cordiality that he proclaims with what he calls Catalanist constitutionalism is give to the constitutionalists without further ado, to those who want to comply with the Constitution".
