CriteriaCaixa obtained a recurring consolidated net profit of 744 million euros in the first half of the year, 26% more than the same period last year, as the contribution of its banking holdings (particularly CaixaBank) improved by 12% and by 49% % the industrial and services portfolio (Naturgy, among others).
The consolidated net result fell 50% compared to the same period last year, due to the extraordinary results of 891 million in 2021 as a result of the merger of CaixaBank and Bankia formalized in the first quarter of last year, according to reports on Thursday by the investment arm of La Caixa in a statement.
The gross asset value (GAV) was 24,732 million (3.9% more than at the end of 2021), due to the recovery of the equity portfolio prices, while the net asset value (NAV) was 19,970 million (10.4% more than at the end of 2021).
CriteriaCaixa distributed 205 million in dividends to its sole shareholder, Fundación La Caixa.
