The authorities have registered more than thirty deaths in the last 24 hours due to floods and landslides, according to the newspaper 'Times of India'.

The authorities have warned that the balance of victims could increase, since there are several missing people.

In the Himachal Pradesh region, in the northwest of the country, 21 deaths, 12 injuries and six missing have been reported. In the regions of Uttarakhand, in the north, and in Jharkhand, in the east, four fatalities have been recorded in each.
