Arrimadas turns to the campaign for the Andalusian elections to try to come back in the polls

MADRID, 3 Jun. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The president of Ciudadanos, Inés Arrimadas, plans an important presence in the campaign for the Andalusian elections on June 19, where the formation tries to overcome the data of the surveys and be decisive to be able to repeat in the government of the Junta, which share with the PP.

Arrimadas' attendance at Andalusian campaign events is conditioned by his commitments in Congress and by his international agenda, according to the party. Yes, her presence is confirmed this weekend in Cádiz, her homeland, where she will share a day with the candidate of the 'orange' formation for the province, Rocío Ruiz, Minister of Equality and Social Policies. In principle, the event will take place on Sunday, although the day is subject to change.

In addition, the leader of Ciudadanos, born in Jerez, will participate in the central act of the campaign, which will take place on Sunday the 12th in Malaga, and will attend the closing of the campaign, which will be held in Seville -the constituency that elects the most deputies in the Parliament of Andalusia, 18 in total--. These acts are added to the presence of her already in different cities, such as Seville, Cádiz, Málaga and Córdoba, within the framework of the pre-campaign.

The 'orange' campaign for the Andalusian elections will be full of recognized faces of the party and the national leadership. The deputy mayor of Madrid, Begoña Villacís, attended the hanging of posters this Thursday, who supported the vice president of the Board and candidate for the Presidency, Juan Marín, who heads the list of the formation for Seville. The 'number two' on the list, Marta Bosquet, also attended.

Likewise, the deputy secretary general of Ciudadanos, Edmundo Bal, and the former vice president of the Junta de Castilla y León, Francisco Igea, have visited the Autonomous Community. According to the training, it is expected that the 'orange' MEPs will also go to the Andalusian provinces to bring their work closer to the European Parliament.

Ciudadanos seeks to reissue the current Andalusian Government. Training sources admit that the undecided, abstention and mobilization will be key in the campaign, but they will try to get those "happy" with the direction of Andalusia to vote.

The surveys, among which are those of the Center for Sociological Research (CIS) and the Center for Andalusian Studies (CENTRA), predict a strong collapse of Citizens in the elections. The most recent, that of the CIS on Thursday, gives Ciudadanos between one and three seats, with the party, which currently has 21 seats, falling to sixth force.

Party sources point out, however, that the mood of the campaign "could not have started better" among members, councilors and voters. His feeling, with the polls in hand, is that the party "is about to be decisive" to repeat executive in Andalusia. Ciudadanos is committed to projecting an image of closeness and good management, as well as the tandem formed by Marín and Ruiz.
