Ancelotti becomes the coach with the most Champions in history

MADRID, 29 May. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The coach of Real Madrid, Carlo Ancelotti, became this Saturday the coach with the most 'Champions' in history (4) thanks to the victory against Liverpool (0-1) in the final in Paris, a title that allows him to position himself alone as the most successful 'mister'.

Until the Saint-Denis final, the Italian coach had three 'Champions' and was tied with the Englishman Bob Paisley and the Frenchman Zinédine Zidane. The first won them all with Liverpool (1977, 1978, 1981) and the second raised them all with Real Madrid and consecutively (2016, 2017 and 2018).

Ancelotti had achieved them with AC Milan, with whom he achieved two (2003 and 2007) plus the one he took to Lisbon in 2014 as coach of Real Madrid -in his first stage-. This Saturday, in Paris, he raised the fourth of his record, the second as merengue coach.

He could even have a fifth if he doesn't lose the one in 2005, the mythical match between Milan and Liverpool that ended with the 'network' comeback of that team led by Rafa Benítez. Tonight's, in any case, allows you to be at the top of this classification.
