Alonso: "Starting last, you can't ask for more than to finish in the points"

The Spanish driver Fernando Alonso (Alpine) has assured that they have made "a race in terms of tire management and strategy" in the Spanish Grand Prix, since "you cannot ask for more" finishing in the points zone after starting latest.

"I started from the worst position. Starting last, you can't ask for more than to finish in the points. It was a race on our part in terms of tire management and strategy," he told DAZN after the race at Circuit of Barcelona-Catalonia.
