Airtificial sells its photovoltaic plant in El Salvador for almost 6 million

MADRID, 8 Jun. (EUROPA PRESS) -

Airtificial has sold its photovoltaic plant in El Salvador, the group's largest remaining non-strategic asset, for 6.3 million dollars (5.9 million euros at current exchange rates).

The company considers this operation one more step in its new strategic plan that they hope will culminate in the achievement of the 'break even' in 2022, after three years reducing losses to double digits, as reported to the National Securities Market Commission.

In the text, the firm has emphasized the entry into new markets, such as India, as well as the diversification of business lines, as is the case of the irruption in the electric mobility market.

Likewise, the 'Intelligent Robots' division has signed contracts worth more than 18 million euros in the first four months of the year, exceeding pre-pandemic levels.

In addition, its water engineering branch has extended a four million euro contract with OHLA in Peru.
