Abascal charges Sánchez and recalls that the PP and Ciudadanos voted against his motion of censure

MADRID, 11 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The leader of Vox, Santiago Abascal, has charged this Friday against the proposal presented by the Government to eliminate the crime of sedition and has also criticized the PP and Ciudadanos, recalling that in October 2020 they voted against his motion of censure against Pedro Sánchez .

In a comment posted on his Twitter account, Abascal has called Sánchez "illegitimate and autocratic", at the head of an "extremist" government.

This Executive, as it has deepened after the proposal to reform the Penal Code, "threatens freedom, security, prosperity, the economy, coexistence and unity."

"That is why two years ago we raised a motion of censure. The PP and Cs voted to keep Sánchez," Abascal reproached along with a graph that recalls that the only vote in favor of the motion of censure was that of Vox, compared to the opposition of the rest of the parliamentary groups.

Precisely this Friday, the president of Ciudadanos, Inés Arrimadas, has claimed the need for a motion of censure against Pedro Sánchez, while the PP has shown its total opposition to the legal reform of PSOE and United We Can.

The leader of Vox has announced a press conference this Monday at the party's headquarters after the meeting of the Political Action Committee. This Friday, Vice President Javier Ortega Smith has accused the Government of "arming the coup plotters with gasoline" with the disappearance of the crime of sedition and "encouraging" a new "coup d'etat" to be committed in Catalonia.
