The King arrived at the funeral accompanied by Queen Letizia and sat next to her and the representatives of other royal houses present, while Don Juan Carlos did so accompanying Doña Sofía and the infantas Elena and Cristina and their children. The emeritus Kings sat behind the family of Constantino, brother of Doña Sofía.
