Vox "reaches out" to the PP to understand each other in Ceuta if it does without Vivas

CEUTA, 7 Aug. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The president of Vox in Ceuta, Juan Sergio Redondo, has "reached out" this Monday to the PP so that the minority local executive "does not depend on Sánchez's puppies and a kind of radical Islamists whitened under the label of progressive localism "as long as the president of the Autonomous City, Juan Vivas, is not part of the equation.

"We cannot refuse to lend our hand, which for Ceuta and for the people of Ceuta will always be, but never for a guy who, like Vivas, is so used to trampling on the dignity and respect of those who, from good faith and patriotism, naively They tend to it," he warned in a statement after Ferraz vetoed last Thursday the ongoing talks to close a coalition government between the PP and the PSOE, as the 'mackerel' socialists had demanded.

According to Redondo, in the Ceuta government team there are "decent and well-intentioned people" whose referents "maybe other PP leaders such as Azcón, Mañueco or Mazón."

"Today, Vivas is his true hindrance," he has censured.

The formation led by Santiago Abascal at the national level, radically discarded by Vivas as the third arithmetic alternative of governance to the PSOE and the localist formations with institutional representation (MDyC and CeutaYa!), has charged against the also president of the PP of Ceuta for being the maximum responsible for the "political instability" that they see in Ceuta.

"In his vision of Ceuta, there is only room for one political model, his, old and outdated, which he wants to impose on the rest as if it were a gospel," lamented Redondo, who believes that this attitude that he blames on Vivas "makes it impossible for can reach agreements that reflect some of the political ideas held by that part of Ceuta that does not vote for him".

Vox has made it clear that "we are not at all going to stop denouncing that in Ceuta there are pro-Moroccan Muslims and fifth columnists, but we are not going to point out all those 'Spanish' who, without being Muslims, directly serve the Moroccan annexationist and Moroccan interests", to qualify some of his positions that Vivas interprets as a risk to coexistence in the city.

The PP obtained nine of the 25 deputies of the regional Assembly in the municipal elections of May 28 and in mid-June Vivas was invested as head of the list of the most voted formation with the abstention of the PSOE and Vox.

The Socialists harvested 6 seats, one less than the previous legislature, and those of Redondo five, also one below.

The MDyC and Ceuta Ya! they went from two to three and from one to two parliamentarians, respectively.
