Vox offers the PP to resign from a vice presidency of the Junta de Extremadura but sees it as "fundamental" to enter the government

The political formation Vox has offered this Monday to the PP to resign from the vice presidency of the Junta de Extremadura, but it sees it as "fundamental" to be part of the next government of the Extremadura executive with the aim of "ensuring the correct functioning of the agreed measures".

A proposal that Vox has sent to the PP of Extremadura this Monday, to which it has shown its "outstretched hand" to continue negotiating, after the meeting held this morning between the negotiating commissions of PP and Vox in Extremadura, headed by María Guardiola and Ángel Pelayo Gordillo, respectively.

After failing to reach an agreement at this meeting, Vox now makes public its offer "to resign from occupying a Vice Presidency in the future government", and regrets that "despite there being many coincidences in the programmatic measures" provided this Monday by the PP, this party "absolutely closes itself to even talking about the possibility of Vox entering the future government."

Faced with this situation, Vox has reaffirmed that it has "verified that it is essential" that "it forms part of the next Government of the Junta de Extremadura to ensure the correct functioning of the agreed measures", since according to what it points out, "the PP has already demonstrated in places like Madrid or Andalusia that, without the presence of Vox in the governments, the programmatic agreements reached have been systematically broken".

Finally, Vox recalls that their votes are "absolutely necessary for the formation of the alternative in Extremadura."

Faced with this situation, Vox points out that "out of respect for its voters and its programmatic measures", it urges the PP to "continue talking about a program of a political alternative to socialism and the formation of the

future government", with the aim of "ensuring the presence of Vox in decision-making that complies with the programmatic agreement that is closed".

"We have verified that it is essential that VOX be part of the next Government of the Junta de Extremadura to ensure the correct functioning of the agreed measures," Vox said through a press release.

In this sense, Vox warns that the "marked red line" of the PP of not continuing to talk about the formation of the Government "makes evident the indifference of the PP to give the Assembly to the PSOE."

For all this, he adds that from Vox they will continue with their "hands out until the last moment to form the alternative that Extremadura wants", and has sent the PP a list of programmatic measures to reach an agreement between both parties.

DRASTIC LOWERING OF TAXES AND FREEDOM OF EDUCATION

Thus, among the measures that Vox has transferred to the PP, there is a "drastic reduction in taxes, at all levels and for all families", with a "substantial reduction in Personal Income Tax in all its sections", as well as the Income Tax. Patrimonial Transmissions, among others.

It also proposes the formation "to ensure freedom in Extremadura", through the vindication of the history of Spain and the repeal of the legislation on Democratic Memory, at the same time that a Law of Concord and Reconciliation will be promoted that "guarantees all the liberties of the Extremadurans".

Vox's proposal also advocates guaranteeing "freedom of education and free choice of center", for which the Extremadura Education Law will be reformed "to guarantee the ideological neutrality of teaching."

As for public money, its "correct management will be one of the hallmarks of this government", for which reason Vox advocates in its proposal to reduce the number of ministries, the number of senior officials and advisors, as well as suppress "organisms unnecessary".

"This government will fight firmly against public corruption," Vox reaffirms in the proposal sent to the PP, in which it advocates "eliminating excessive obstacles that cause our companies to compete in inferior conditions compared to those of foreign producers and industries."

They also defend the "reduction by a significant percentage" of subsidies to employers and unions with respect to what was contributed in 2022, and allocate these resources to the "social emergency suffered by families in Extremadura".

Regarding the protection of the rural world, Vox is committed to promoting a comprehensive Hydrological Law of Extremadura, which "attends without ideological conditions, the consumption needs of urban areas and the irrigation needs of the rural world and facilitates the interconnection between basins" .

Vox's proposal also calls for the central government to develop a National Water Plan that "contemplates the interconnection of all hydrographic basins to ensure that water reaches Extremadura and all regions of Spain," he points out.

REFORM OF THE HUNTING LAW

Vox also advocates in its proposal for the reform of the Extremadura Hunting Law "to counteract the damages of the Animal Welfare Law and preserve the rights of hunters", in view of which, it highlights the work of the Ministry of Agriculture to " ensure rural society and its economic future," he says.

Regarding family and housing policies, Vox is committed to ensuring that "all policies" in the region are "oriented towards the protection of families", for which they will guarantee "all assistance and support for victims of intrafamily violence , especially that suffered by women, children and the elderly".

They will also launch an "in-depth study" on the increase in sexual assaults on women, "to determine their causes and the repeated profiles of the aggressors, in order to combat them more effectively", and they will urge the central government to "put the necessary measures to protect women and identify the rapists who have been released by the Yes is Yes Law".

They also propose to demand that the Congress of Deputies "demand accountability to the politicians who have collaborated in the release of these aggressors of women", and they will request the "immediate repeal" of that law, "replacing it with one that increases the penalties for all violators, including permanent imprisonment", among other measures.

They also advocate for the approval of a comprehensive family protection law that includes measures to promote the birth rate with birth aid, as well as essential expenses.

In its proposal, Vox is also committed to increasing the housing stock, reducing the tax burden and facilitating access to housing for young people and families, for which they propose that the Junta de Extremadura guarantee up to 20 percent of the total cost of the first home for young people, and reduce to 30 percent the deduction for habitual residence for those under 40 years of age.

In terms of infrastructure, Vox reaffirms that the new government will execute "all pending investments to guarantee connectivity, especially by rail, both for goods and people from Extremadura with the rest of Spain."

"We will promote the construction of the Badajoz-Cáceres highway, as well as the unfolding of the Nacional-430," says Vox in the proposal that it has sent to the PP, in which it also advocates demanding an energy sovereignty plan from the central government.

They also defend the continuity of the operation of the Almaraz Nuclear Power Plant, and point out that they will guarantee "the security of agricultural exploitations against any type of crime".

Finally, in the event of an illegal occupation of a property, Vox advocates that the public powers "will guarantee the right to property by making available to the justice system all the personal and material means necessary to protect the affected party."
