Turull (Junts) on the amnesty negotiation: "We will do our best" because the objective is "assumed and signed"

FIGUERES (GIRONA), 15 Feb. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The general secretary of Junts, Jordi Turull, assured this Thursday that they will put "the best of the best" in the negotiation with the PSOE for the amnesty so that it can move forward.

"We will do our best to achieve the objective, which is assumed, shared and signed," he stressed in statements to the media in Figueres (Girona), where he did not want to confirm whether they met with the socialists on Wednesday to address the question.

According to Turull, he does not want to generate expectation or speculation in this regard, so when they reach "an agreement or a disagreement" they will announce it, he said.

He has also regretted the statements of the Minister of Social Rights of the Generalitat, Carles Campuzano, against Junts' position on the amnesty: "Following his criteria, what would not have been done is not even the 1-O referendum."

"If your opinion is to support the PSOE more than the independence movement, that is your opinion, we will respect it but we do not share it. That is why I suppose we are in two different political spaces," Turull concluded about Campuzano, who is a former CiU deputy in Congress.
