Turner, a subsidiary of ACS in the US, will participate in the construction of the new stadium for the Tennessee Titans

MADRID, 18 Ago. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The US subsidiary of the ACS group, Turner, will participate in the construction of the new stadium for the Tennessee Titans football team, which is scheduled to open in 2027, the company reported in a statement.

Specifically, the Metropolitan Sports Authority has appointed the Tennessee Builders Alliance (TBA) consortium, of which the American subsidiary of ACS is a part, for the construction of its new stadium, a project that, according to specialized American media, is valued at around 2,100 million dollars (1,931 million euros at the current exchange rate).

Together with Turner, the TBA consortium is made up of other companies in the sector such as ICF Builders, Polk

In fact, Turner and Aecom Hunt have worked on 17 of the 30 most recently completed NFL stadium projects.

"The breadth of knowledge that TBA brings to the table is second to none and we couldn't be more excited to welcome them to the project team," said Titans President and CEO Burke Nihill.

The new stadium will be built on the east side of the existing venue, on Nashville's east bank. It will have a translucent circular roof; outside porches with panoramic views of Nashville; improved sight lines for spectators, and a community space available for year-round use.

TBA will supervise the pre-construction services and manage the project to erect the stadium, also selecting the commercial contractors that will work on the work.

"TBA is delighted to be working with the Tennessee Titans, the City of Nashville and the Metropolitan Sports Authority in building a world-class facility for our neighbors," said John Gromos, Consortium Director.

A website detailing opportunities to participate in the construction of the new stadium will be released in the coming months. In the meantime, companies interested in working on the project can fill out a general interest form on the Titans' website.

The Titans will present the final contract for TBA's services to the Sports Authority for consideration at a board meeting in the coming months. The foundation stone for the new stadium is scheduled to be laid in early to mid-2024 and to open in 2027.
