Tomas Satoransky: "Madrid and Efes have the DNA of teams that have won a lot"

BARCELONA, 23 Dic. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The Barça player Tomas Satoransky assured that Fenerbahçe, Olympiacos, Real Madrid and Anadolu Efes are four of the teams with which they will have to compete to be in the 'Final Four' of the Euroleague, and highlighted that Madrid and Efes have team DNA winner.

"Efes and Real Madrid are two very similar teams. They are the best attacking teams in the Euroleague. Efes plays very loosely and Real Madrid is doing very well. You can see that the players have a lot of confidence because of what they have done in the past, and the same with Efes. They have this DNA of teams that have won a lot", he commented in an interview on DAZN.

In addition, he believes Fenerbahçe and Olympiacos will also be rivals to beat. "Fenerbahçe makes things very complicated. Olympiacos was our first Euroleague game and I think they will go very far too, because they are very physical and these teams have a lot of advantage later in the Euroleague", he highlighted.

Regarding his return to Barça after his time in the NBA, he assured that it is "going home". "We were in the United States six years and we always wanted to go back to Europe. We never wanted to live (there) after my career in the United States, we always liked living here. And basically it was quite easy to decide that we were going to return one day and we felt that the time to return was now", he was sincere.

He also celebrated being able to play again with Jan Vesely, his compatriot and the other great star from the Czech Republic. "The first time we played together with Vesely was in an Under-16 championship and it was a bit of our dream, to play together. He is very smart, in defense he is still a great defender and he knows how to pass shooters very well", highlighted the pivot.

"I was here with Mario Hezonja in my first season in Barcelona. You can see that he has done very well, he already did very well with UNICS Kazan last year. And Musa has adapted very well, he has had very good games, in ACB and also in the Euroleague, and I think he feels very comfortable", he commented on his two ex-teammates who are now at Real Madrid.
