This Monday, June 12, is the last day on which investors will be able to acquire Telefónica shares with the right to receive the second dividend from the company charged to the financial year of 2022, which will amount to 0.15 euros gross per title and It will be paid on Thursday of this week, June 15.
In this way, the shares that are traded after the close of today's stock market will not be entitled to this remuneration, according to the calendar set by the company.
The payment of the second dividend from Telefónica charged to the previous year will materialize on June 15, although the holders who will be entitled to receive it will be determined on the previous day. In this sense, the withholdings required by the applicable regulations at all times will be applied to those 0.15 euros per title.
This second dividend is added to the one paid by the company on December 14, which also amounted to 0.15 euros gross per share, so the total amount of the dividend charged to the fiscal year of 2022 amounts to 0.3 euros gross per share. action.
