Two bodies have been found and rescued this Tuesday off the coast of the Malaga municipality of Fuengirola, sources close to the investigation have confirmed to Europa Press.

Thus, the aforementioned sources have indicated that it is not about the two men aged 29 and 34 who have disappeared on the beach of La Misericordia in Malaga since Sunday when they went out to practice paddle surfing.

The device to search for the two missing men continues. Last Monday at 6:43 p.m. the paddle surf board was located by a sailboat 15 miles southeast of Malaga and was picked up by the Salvamar Alnitak Maritime Rescue vessel that took it to Malaga.

The Tarifa Rescue Center has been coordinating the search device since last Monday and this Tuesday it has continued with its own rescue resources and those of other administrations.

Specifically, the Helimer 207 helicopter, the Salvamar Alnitak, as well as Hamal, a Red Cross vessel LS Cronos and a Civil Guard patrol boat have been mobilized on Tuesday. In addition, warnings continue to be issued to ships navigating in the area.

As for the search area, they have specified that it is from the area where the paddle surf board was found on the afternoon of this past Monday, 15 miles southeast of Malaga, and the drift process followed since they left from La Misericordia beach, in the capital.

The Rate Center coordinates the search from the reception of the alert this past Monday around 03:15. The 112 Andalucía system informed the aforementioned center about a call from a private individual alerting that two friends had left on a paddle surf board from La Misericordia beach to see the sunrise around 07:20 in the morning, but that they had not returned. , so they gave the notice.

On the other hand, Maritime Rescue has explained that it keeps the family informed at all times of the entire operation that is being carried out.
