The Women's Barça sweeps in its Champions debut with its biggest win

The Women's FC Barcelona swept this Wednesday at the Johan Cruyff with a resounding 9-0 victory over the Portuguese Benfica, in the first day of the Champions League group stage in which the azulgranas presented their candidacy for the continental title and achieved the biggest win of the club's history.

Undefeated in the new F League and with their captain, Alexia Putellas, as a brand new Ballon d'Or for the second consecutive year, the Catalans continue without giving up a point and take the first step to recover their crown lost last year. The culé team thus becomes the first leader of Group D, although with three points there is also a Bayern that beat Rosengard (2-1).
