The US affirms that its country will work with Sánchez "very well" and avoids evaluating the amnesty: "It is an internal issue for Spain"

SEVILLA, 16 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The ambassador of the United States (USA) in Spain, Julissa Reynoso, has congratulated both Pedro Sánchez for his inauguration this Thursday as President of the Government and the country for "having a democratic process."

In statements to the media moments before the start of the Grammy gala at the Seville Exhibition and Congress Palace (Fibes), Reynoso has avoided evaluating the Amnesty Law agreed between the PSOE and Junts to make the investiture possible, a " internal issue that I leave to the Spanish."

However, he has guaranteed that the United States "will work very well with the Government of Pedro Sánchez", stressing that both countries share "a very complete agenda, with achievements and much more to do."

"We hope to work with the Government of Spain in a positive way, as we have done in recent years," the North American ambassador finally added.
