They maintain that they announce electoral acts in the pre-campaign, although it is prohibited by electoral law

MADRID, 22 Jun. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The PSOE has denounced Vox before the Central Electoral Board for the canvas on which they throw away the LGTBI flag, the Catalan and communist independence movement and the logos of the feminist movement and the 2030 Agenda. In this way they accuse it of failing to comply the Organic Law of the General Electoral Regime by publicizing a campaign act outside the allowed period, in the opinion of the Socialists and also see possible hate crime.

In this way they denounce the installation this week of a large canvas on Calle Alcalá in Madrid, in which a hand with a bracelet of the flag of Spain, according to the complaint presented by the PSOE before the electoral authority, throws the trash can a series of logos identifying the feminist movement, the 2030 Agenda and the communist party, in addition to the independence and LGTBI flag.

Next to that image appear the words freedom, security, family, industry, countryside and borders and announces the celebration of a party event on Saturday June 24 at IFEMA, the closing of the Ordinary General Assembly of Vox. On the other side of the canvas, in red, the words "imposition, insecurity, division, poverty, abandonment and invasion" appear, the Vox logo and its motto: 'Decide what matters'.

The PSOE complaint also highlights that the placement of this canvas has been publicized on the social networks of this political formation and even that a party profile published a comment that indicated: "To the trash all the progressive crap! The

The PSOE alleges that Vox has breached the electoral law, which states that it is prohibited "from the calling of elections until the legal start of the campaign" to carry out electoral propaganda through posters, commercial supports or insertions in the media. In addition, the specific law states that this propaganda cannot be justified by the exercise of the ordinary activities of political parties.

In this sense, they consider that the act announced by Vox for June 24 has an "electoral nature" and therefore violates the law since it does not have the purpose of presenting candidacies or publicizing the electoral program "but rather what it is about limiting, the actual acts of a vote petition campaign, as is evident that occurs under the guise of an ordinary Assembly," the complaint says.

Likewise, they point out that the "link" that Vox makes of the feminist and LGTBI movement to the concepts "imposition, insecurity, division, poverty, abandonment and invasion" and the express declaration of "crap" in addition to the gesture of throwing it away supposes his trial an "illegal" campaign and not allowed by the LOREG. As indicated, this conduct could constitute a "hate crime."

Therefore, the PSOE asks the JEC to force Vox to remove the canvas installed on Calle Alcalá, "immediately, within six hours", in addition to all the publicity about its event on June 24 at IFEMA .

They also ask to open a disciplinary file against Vox for "reoffending" in the violation of article 53 of the LOREG, for the placement of a sign at the entrance of the Conde de Casal metro with the motto 'Protect Madrid. Vote safe' in the pre-campaign period. Finally, they ask the JEC to inform the Prosecutor's Office of the facts for the possible commission of crimes.
