The PP seals a government in Extremadura with Vox, which will have the Ministry of Forest Management and Rural World

They commit to a stable executive that puts an "end" to the policies of the PSOE

The PP and Vox have reached an agreement to govern Extremadura in a coalition, so that the 'popular' María Guardiola becomes president of the Extremadura Junta, while Santiago Abascal's party will assume a council, that of Forest Management and Rural World.

This is how both parties have advanced this Friday in a joint statement. Guardiola and the Vox spokesman in the Extremadura Assembly, Ángel Pelayo, will sign the agreement today at 12:45 p.m. in the Extremadura Parliament.

"PP and Vox have thus assumed the responsibility of providing the region with a stable government and with a clear roadmap to put an end to the socialist policies that have weighed down the development of Extremadura," they underline.

They assure that they have focused their efforts on reaching common ground and addressing the concerns shared by their voters and by the majority of Extremadurans.

According to the statement, the programmatic agreement includes 60 measures to "guarantee a government of change" and with which "the consequences of the political inertia of the PSOE in recent years" are reversed by governing the autonomous community.

The measures of the agreement "are focused on the priorities of Extremadura families, and on combating unemployment, poverty, lack of opportunities and depopulation," they point out.

For PP and Vox, these measures will have a "direct impact" on the general budgets of Extremadura each year.
