The PP elects a group of combative senators for the Senate investigation commission into the 'Koldo case'

The PSOE appoints the former mayor of Palma de Mallorca and the former vice president of Navarra among its members of the commission

The PP has appointed a group of combative senators as members of the Senate investigation commission on the 'Koldo case', among whom are the former general coordinator of the PP, Fernando Martínez-Maillo, the general secretary of the PP of Madrid, Alfonso Serrano, or the former president of Extremadura, José Antonio Monago. Of these names, the 'popular' still have to decide on their spokesperson and the president of the Board to order these works.

This is stated in the list of members of the commission, to which Europa Press has had access, that the PP has sent to the Presidency of the Senate, which details the names of the 17 members of the PP who will be present in this parliamentary investigation. about the 'Koldo case'.

Specifically, the Senate plenary session a few weeks ago unanimously approved the creation of the investigation commission into all the ramifications of the 'Koldo case', promoted by the PP, and is scheduled to be established after Easter.

The members of the PP will be Alfonso Serrano, 'number two' of Isabel Díaz Ayuso in the Madrid PP; the former general coordinator of the PP, Fernando Martínez-Maillo; Ana Beltrán, the 'number three' of the PP during the time of Pablo Casado; Luis Javier Santamaria, former advisor of Fabra in the Community of Valenciana; the former president of Extremadura, José Antonio Monago; the former Minister of Health of the Community of Madrid in the pandemic, Enrique Ruiz Escudero, and the senator of the Aragonese PP, Eloy Suárez.

Likewise, the PP has also given prominence to senators from the Balearic Islands and the Canary Islands, the two autonomous communities involved in these contracts for medical supplies with the company linked to the investigation of the 'Koldo case'.

In this context, the Balearic senator María Salom Coll, as well as the Canary Islands parliamentarians Sergio Ramos Acosta and the former leader of the Canarian PP María Australia Navarro de Paz, will be part of this investigation commission by the PP.

On behalf of the PP, the Murcian senator Francisco Bernabé completes the list of members; the Valencian senator Gerardo Camps; the Aragonese senator Rocío Divar; the Burgos senator Salvador de Foronda; the senator from Cuenca Alejo Joaquín Miranda de Larra; the Segovian senator Juan José Sanz Vitorio and the Andalusian senator Inmaculada Hernández.

Of these 17 names that the PP has provided to the Presidency of the Senate, those of Alberto Núñez Feijóo will have to choose their spokesperson and the president of the Table, although the general secretary of the Popular Group, Javier Arenas, announced that it would be a person with experience.

In the case of the PSOE, its spokesperson in the investigation commission on the 'Koldo case' will be the 'number two' of the Group and Basque senator, Alfonso Gil, while the vice spokesperson will be the senator for Jaén José Latorre Ruiz.

Among the members he has chosen to be part of the parliamentary investigation, the former mayor of Palma de Mallorca José Hila, the former counselor of Ecological Transition in the Canary Islands, José Antonio Valbuena, and the former first vice president of Navarra, Javier Ramírez, stand out.

The rest of the parliamentary groups have also already elected their spokespersons in this investigation commission.
