The PP accuses Sánchez of wanting to whitewash the tables with independentists with the working commission on CGPJ

Feijóo wants to talk to the president about the amnesty and equality of the Spanish people

ZARAGOZA, 7 Dic. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The general secretary of the PP, Cuca Gamarra, stated this Monday in Zaragoza that the PP "does not have any information" about a possible meeting between Pedro Sánchez and Alberto Núñez Feijoó, nor has the agenda been sent to them, nor "if The meeting will be in national or foreign territory, if there are going to be mediators", clarifying that "the PP does not want any dialogue table."

Gamarra responded in this way to Sánchez's proposal to create a working commission with the popular people to talk about the renewal of the CGPJ, regional financing and the reform of article 49 of the Constitution.

"If he has decided to humiliate himself before the independentists in relation to those tables, we tell him that he should not count on us to whitewash those tables," said Gamarra, adding that "everything that the PP has to negotiate with Sánchez will always be in the scope of the institutions and Parliament, neither more nor less".

Gamarra has visited Zaragoza to participate in a meeting of the PP-Aragón Steering Committee. He has considered that if the President of the Government has been willing to approve the amnesty law "he will not have any qualms about approving a new law that articulates a system of electing the governing body of judges" as requested by the PP, adding that Sánchez "must unquestionably commit to the independence of the judiciary to address the renewal of the CGPJ."

He has also alluded to Sánchez's proposal to reform article 49 of the Constitution, to which he has argued that the PP "remains committed" to this reform "under the conditions that are agreed with the PSOE", so that it does not serve to modify other issues indirectly or involve a referendum.

The moment Sánchez contacts Núñez Feijoó, "we will communicate it." On the agenda there will be two issues, he has proposed, amnesty and the defense of equality for Spaniards.

Gamarra has pointed out that "in Sanchismo the diversion of power is a merit" so that Sánchez can consolidate "the constant deterioration of the institutions." He has vindicated the value of the given word, highlighting the reduction in taxes and the increase in investment in public services to "make people live better", with "results that are making politics worthwhile and continuing to trust in we".

In his opinion, "Pedro Sánchez's permanence in power is entailing the greatest process of degradation of the institutions in the 45 years of democracy," because "lies have become the way of governing, a daily way of understanding the Government, lie constantly, and this is not the way."

The general secretary of the PP has stated that "when you constantly lie you cannot speak of virtue, I would call it a vice", alluding "not only to the use of lies as a habitual form of government, but also to the constant control and erosion of all institutions", which "in recent weeks is becoming more established".

He recalled that the Supreme Court has annulled the appointment of former minister Magdalena Valerio "due to lack of qualifications" and "we have had to see how the Government confirmed a state attorney general disapproved by the Supreme Court for misuse of power."

He has also criticized that Sánchez has confirmed the president of the CIS, José Félix Tezanos, "a socialist militant who they say gets the polls right, although I don't know of any that have got it right unless the ones La Moncloa knows are different from the ones we Spaniards know." . Likewise, he has rejected the Spanish Government's proposal to appoint journalist Miguel Ángel Oliver as the new president of Agencia Efe.

Cuca Gamarra has said that Sánchez "prefers to give amnesty to those who attacked coexistence rather than negotiate the State pacts with the PP", adding in relation to the PSOE negotiations with Junts that "we already know that there will not be one rapporteur, but two, and that in the face of a shrinking coalition government it seems that the tables are growing.

The leader of the PP has stated that "the amnesty is an elephant in the room" and has denied that the amnesty is a virtue because "virtue is morality, ethics, honesty and integrity, and the amnesty is the complete opposite: Let's call the things by name.

He has emphasized that on Tuesday of next week "a black page in the history of democracy in this country" will be written, in reference to the consideration, in the Congress of Deputies, of the amnesty law, "a great electoral fraud that is committed not only by Sánchez, but also by the 121 deputies of the PSOE." He has asked that voting be done by appeal because "without them this electoral fraud is not possible."
