The National Court charges the former head of Anti-drugs of the Civil Guard for the Strait of Gibraltar

MADRID, 11 Abr. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The National Court has charged Lieutenant Colonel of the Civil Guard David Oliva, former Anti-Drug Chief of the Civil Guard for the Strait of Gibraltar, for alleged crimes of revealing secrets and bribery, and is expected to testify tomorrow at the courthouse.

As El Español has advanced and sources in the case have confirmed to Europa Press, this judicial decision is the result of an investigation by the Internal Affairs Service of the Civil Guard that began last year for alleged pressure on a subordinate to learn about issues related to an operation .

These pressures would have occurred during his time as head of the Southern Drug Trafficking Coordination Agency (OCON), dismantled a few months ago by the Ministry led by Fernando Grande-Marlaska.

The sources specify that both Oliva and this subordinate, a lieutenant, are summoned to testify this Wednesday at the National Court.
