MADRID, 10 Mar. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The Government has acknowledged in a parliamentary response that it still does not have a specific date for the next meeting of the Dialogue Table between the central and Catalan Executives, which Pedro Sánchez and Pere Aragonès agreed to convene for the first quarter of 2024.

This has been admitted by the Government of Pedro Sánchez in a parliamentary response in Congress, in which it assures that it has not yet specified the day to hold this fourth meeting of the Dialogue Table with Catalonia.

Specifically, the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, and the head of the Catalan Executive, Pere Aragonès, agreed in the meeting they held in December of last year to resume the Dialogue Table with a new meeting that would be held in the first quarter of 2024.

However, just one month before the end of the first quarter of 2024, the Government assumes that it does not have a specific date for the Dialogue Table, which met for the last time in the summer of 2022 at the headquarters of the Ministry of the Presidency.

In this context, they recall the promotion of the Innofab chip pre-production technology center in Barcelona, as well as the promotion of co-official languages.

They also highlight the investiture agreement reached between the Government and ERC for the transfer of the Rodalies railway service to Catalonia. In this regard, they recall that the Ministry of Transport and the Department of Territory agreed to the creation of a Political Commission to advance this transfer.

"The Commission will have different working groups to deal with the financing and transfer of the service and the infrastructure that may be transferred," says the Government, which has explained that there is talk of the creation of a new company to operate the Cercanías service. in Catalonia.
